Ladies Learning Spanish was born from a very clear vision: to create a warm, safe and uplifting space where women can learn Spanish, make friends and feel at home in the language.
When I started teaching, I noticed something beautiful: women learned better together, they felt more relaxed and confident, groups quickly became friendships, and Spanish became part of their daily lives.
Very soon, I realised I didn’t just want to teach Spanish… I wanted to build a women’s community. That same vision still guides every lesson today.

We’re a small team with a big passion for Spanish and for helping women feel confident using it in real life.
Founder & Head Teacher
I’m Spanish, with a Degree in Hispanic Philology and a Master’s and specialisation in teaching Spanish to foreigners. I speak English to a very high level.
I created the 30/30 Method and mainly teach our advanced groups, where we go deep into the details of the language.
What sets my teaching apart is the genuine care and patience I show to each student.
Spanish Teacher
Spanish, with a Degree in English Philology and a specialisation in teaching Spanish to foreigners. Helena is bilingual in Spanish and English and has years of experience teaching Spanish.
She mainly teaches our beginner groups, using English whenever it helps you understand, and follows the method created by Leila.
Like Leila, she keeps every class close and friendly — like a conversation between friends — with clear structure and professional attention.

The 30/30 Method — created by Leila
After years of teaching women from all over the world, Leila developed a simple structure that finally makes Spanish “click”. Every 60-minute lesson is split into two equal halves.
Speak naturally about real-life topics, like chatting with friends. Key vocabulary and corrections are shared after class.
We go through your weekly exercises together, so mistakes turn into progress.
A new grammar point — or a review when something needs consolidating before moving on.
